Seasoned 16 years internal audit and finance specialist with experience in corporate governance, risk assessment, internal controls, fraud, forensic audit, computer assisted audit techniques (CAAT), IT audit and financial reporting.  He has experience in the following industries: Retail and Distribution, Manufacturing, Banking, Food and Consumer Products, Non-Profit, Governmental, Trade, Hotels, Free Zone, Agricultural and Forestry.  He is bilingual fluent in English and native in Spanish.  Mr. De La Cruz communicates effectively with top management, is a team player and results oriented.

As International Consultant of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), he was member of the team that made the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) of the Internal Audit Function of the Interamerican Development Bank (IADB) in September 2005, and in November 2004, in the city of Mexico (DF) for Nacional de Monte Piedad.
